The Perpich Center for Arts Education Library seeks to support
teaching and learning through the arts in Minnesota by loaning arts
and arts education materials directly to MN residents (18 and older)
who are K-12 and post-secondary teachers, artists, staff from art
organizations, researchers, or any interested citizen for a period
of three (3) to six (6) weeks.
The library houses over 14,000 titles which includes a diverse collection
of print and non-print materials representing six art areas (dance,
literary arts, media arts, music, theater, and visual arts) as well
as growing collection of multicultural resources. Requests for materials
for individuals and schools will be mailed out free through this
program or held for up to a week for direct pick-up. This library
also lends materials to individuals, schools, and academic institutions
through the statewide interlibrary loan network of which we are
a part.
